RIGHT AMOUNT FOR THE RIGHT COLOR

Can I do minor repairs myself?: Depending on the condition, it is possible if you want to. For example, repair a part where the color is a little dented due to flying stones or dusts.
In case of large dents or abrasions, we recommend to leave it to a professional.
Is CAN method of color matching possible?: If you know the car model, year, color number, etc., we can match the colors.
Please note that the data will have to be renewed as new car.
Is it possible to process the color-mixing on the spot?: Yes, it is. If you bring your car with you to our place (or mail the condition beforehand), our staff will make a color according to the condition on the spot.
Which paint do you use for color-mixing?: Superior Admila (made by Nippon Paint) will be offered.
I would like to further improve my car repair skills. How can I do that?: It is possible to participate the training course sponsored by Nippon Paint.
It is relatively effective because it will be a training for a concentrated small number of people focusing on practical training.
Can you handle phone calls when you have a problem on site?: Yes, you will be corresponding with skilled staff who are familiar with sheet metal painting, since they will be the one who handle the color-mixing.

COLOR-MIXING WORKFLOW

Our paint colsultants are available not only for processing the color-mix, but they are also available for consulting and proposing the best paint that will suit your needs.

1. TELL US ABOUT PARTS YOU'RE GOING TO PAINT/ COAT AND THE MATERIAL YOU WISH TO USE

2. ARE THERE REMAINING/ LEFT-OVER PAINTS/ COATINGS IN PARTS YOU'RE GOING TO PAINT/ COAT?

【When there is remainder of coating membrane】
For compatibility purpose, it is necessary to check the resin of the paint on the coated object.

【If case you do not know the resin used】
We will need to peel off the current coating.
And process a whole repainting process using the compatible all purpose water-based paint.

【In case no coating membrane remains】
In principle, you can choose your any resin you wish to use.
But it is necessary to select the compatible base-material for that coating.
3. DECIDING THE PAINT THAT WORK BEST FOR YOUR PROJECT.

【Oil-based paint】
① Roof ② Exterior wall ③ Indoor ④ Industrial Use ⑤ Car repair

Thinner is required for dilution.
It is also necessary to confirm the current coating resin.
The weather resistance and effects will change depending on the resin.
Acrylic (appearance change in about 3 years)
Urethane (appearance change in about 5 years)
Silicon (appearance change in about 8 years)
Fluorine (appearance change in about 10 years)

【Water-based paint】
① Roof ② Exterior wall ③ Indoor

Tap water can be used for dilution.
Paint can be applied from any coating.
Once used, only water-based paint can be used afterwards.
4. SPECIFY YOUR DESIRED COLOR.

Choose your color form the following source:
① Japan Paint Manufacturers Association's Color sample book's number
② Munsell number
③ Mail a physical sample (recommended for car repair)

【Refrence sample of color number】
Example: "Japan Paint G22-90B beige" or "Munsell 2.5Y9 beige".

→ The sample book of Japan Paint MAnufacturers' Association is also sold in our store.
5. DECIDE THE RIGHT AMOUNT FOR YOUR PROJECT.

【If your request is processed at the manufacturer】
The size will correspond to the normal size of each manufacturer.
※ In general, 16K [oil can size] is mainly used.

【If your request is processed at our company office】
Available sizes are: 1L/ 2L/ 4L/ 16L
※ Some sizes cannot be adjusted depending on the type of paint.

→ We also sell empty cans.
6. YOUR REQUEST IS COMPLETE! PROCEED TO THE COLOR-MIXING PROCESS.

【If your request is processed at the manufacturer】
In principle, completed order will arrive at our company office the next day in the morning.
※ Please note that if the requested color-mixing is more complicated and/ or concentrated, it may arrive the day after the next day.

【If your request is processed at our company office】
Placed requests may be processed not according to the order.
In principle, orders made in the morning will be distributed the next day in the afternoon.
Please note that if the requested color-mixing is more complicated and/or concentrated, it will take some time for delivery.
We recommend that you would prepare a request with plenty of time beforehand.
